In-Game Rules

I. Admin Discretion - Common Sense
Admin Discretion gives an admin the power to enforce punishments on players when required for offenses not listed in the rules below when a player's behavior or actions create a negative playing experience for other player(s). It is not possible to list every example of each rule, so it's important to know that players cannot abuse any loopholes of any rules.
The basis of this rule is common sense. Roleplay as if you would act in real life. Do not do illogical things and try to remain as realistic as possible.
Always follow an administrator's instructions, even if you disagree with the decision. If you believe an admin is making a wrong decision, gather all the logs and evidence and request a review by the Upper Management by filing a report on the User Control Panel.

II. Common Courtesy - Golden Rule
While out of character, it is expected of you to remain respectful towards others. Each and every player should feel welcome in the community, no matter what their background is. Any form of OOC discrimination if strictly forbidden. Treat others how you would like to be treated.

Examples of breaking this rule:

• Insulting another player OOCly
• Spamming
• Leaving the server intentionally to avoid roleplay and/or consequences of any kind
• Taking advantage of an OOC issue to give yourself an advantage in an IC situation (driving off from a traffic stop when a police officer's game crashes, stealing a vehicle from a player whose game crashed, etc.)

III. Always Roleplay
All players must remain in character at all times, unless they are granted permission to go out of character by an admin. Failing to roleplay a situation is forbidden - all players are expected to be roleplaying at all times.
If a player breaks a rule during a situation, you must finish the roleplay and report later - a mindset that's commonly associated with the phrase "Roleplay now, report later."
